I really need just a little money, and I'm asking you to please pray for GOD to send me just enough today. The plasma donation place never called me back (you have to make an appointment), but someone needing an ESL tutor got in touch with me earlier, as they need help with writing their grad school application. They say they want to meet with me today, and that could mean $20, as I ask for a down payment on work upfront if I must rewrite, edit...something for a client. Please, pray for GOD to send me just enough money today. I need to do laundry, have bus fare, and have some food to add to the bulk beans and rice I have left, and I'd really like some cigarettes. I get paid Friday, and I'm just trying to get by until then. May GOD bless you. Thank you for your prayers.

I agree with Robins prayers. Praying God will provide all you need. Still hoping you can stop the cigarettes I know you are trying and that is good.
when I watch my daughter cough and be short of breath I pray for her to stop and as she isn't even trying . Her husband smokes a lot also.
I wish everyone could give up their addictions no matter what it is smoking, drugs. or facebook, twitter, and my space. I read that more people have admitted they are addicted to them than gambling. becasue you have to go to a casino and it t akes planning and your computer is near you all the time. Also that many people have been fired for using the office computers so much they can't get their work done. Sounds slmost impossible to me but guess there are rightdo ya think I am addicted to Popsonian! No God won't let that happen here ~!

My tutoring gig panned out. He came right over a little while after I woke up, and he paid the whole fee upfront...$48.00. I now have some money and some cigarettes. I'm so glad. Now, I just have to rewrite and edit his grad school application for him, and get it to him asap. Thank GOD for sending me this money. Praise GOD.

I had faith that GOD would provide. I really needed that money. I got some smokes, some groceries, some dental floss, and the pants I needed for work. I even have a few dollars left to do laundry, catch the bus... Thank you GOD!

Glad it worked out for you. What a joy that must have been hope your tummy is full and you have calmed down with that smoke. Make sure you limit them so they last.I may have to find you some corn silk.Would you believe I actually tried smoking corn silk when I was a teen? Yep at a 4H meeting one time we got some corn silk off one of the guys dads corn field & used my dads cigarette papers ( he used to roll his own cigarettes) and smoked them. Did that a few times.'Things were different then. we used to take the ears of corn too start a fire and roast it. We used to chew the bark on the Birch trees too, That was good tasted like birch beer.-Is there such a soda as birch beer today?. I haven't seen any!

Not sure about birch beer soda, not familiar with all the sodas they have on the market. I have not ever been a soda drinker; I really hate soda. I was always a sweetened tea drinker, but I gave that up years ago...except for once in a while I'll get a tea if I'm eating out...rarely though.

I am glad to have some groceries. I just made refried black bean and rice burritos. I'm glad to have some cigarettes, too. I got two packs, so that should last me until I get paid at the end of the week.

Thank GOD for that money! I was down to nothing.

My family was all tapped out for money with only one of us working. My gas tank was on E, Sunday night. I have gone after the unemployment that I have paid into for the last five years. Tomorrow I call it in and hopefully by next Sunday my first waiting week will be in. This would be a real answer to prayer until full time work is available. Monday morning I was sent an e-mail from a fellow writer wanting me to help edit her stories and poems.

God has not forgotten his children. I am so happy for your good news, Erin. We will contiue to pray that things will stabilize for you. Praying for you, I believe, is helping us as well. Good bless, Don

Yes When we care about others and pray for them it gets returned when we need prayer. That is why this forum is so important to me. There are all kinds of forums but a place where we can Praise God and pray for those needing prayer is the most important part of having a place like this.
If you are like me and find out someone is in trouble, or ill the first thing you think of is heading to the computer and telling our family to pray.
Also when we share our experiences with others we see the power of prayer. An example is right here Erin was hungry and without money-then she is psoting a thank you- She had some money and she was fed.
Proving that " A family that prays together stays together" That is our #1 reason we have been together for so long.

Erin I am so happy that this opportunity fell into your lap--but I am not at all surprised as this is what we have been praying for. Just keep on praying and believing!
