Oh Maddie, it was a Glorious day to have experienced that!!
I felt Gods hands on me as I was getting Baptized. I felt right then and there I was ready to go Home in Heaven if he needed me then.
Not every Baptism has a day that it storms.
Even though it was storming mostly all day which started from the night before, all I could see was a perfect day.
The rain had stopped long enough to be sprinkling while driving to church and had stopped briefly while getting near to the parking lot and had waited long enough for me to enter the Church before it starting raining harder again.
I got Baptized before the sermon started and during that time, it was raining harder where we could hear the sound from the raindrops pounding on the building.
During the service, it was by then thundering and lightning.
I was the only one for that day to get Baptized. When I left to go home, it had stopped long enough to be drizzling. How awesome it was to know that God had scheduled the timing of the amount of raindrops that came down.

This is what I wrote in another thread.
I wrote:At the age of 27, I realized the importance of having a high school education along with good grades,
I went to night school for classes and to get my diploma.
At the age of 28 (28 years ago), I was eligible to go to a regular high school and finish my last semester along with other seniors...so I did.
While there, I met this girl Laura, in one of my classes and we connected very quickly but our relationship was only to last until I finished school.
I never saw her after I got my diploma but had thought about her and wondered about her throughout the years and always wished her well and hoped she was living a happier life.
When I met Laura, she was in a controlling relationship and pregnant.
Well today, she was there attending church with her family and came up to me and told me who she was.
I don't know if she is still with the same guy but she is still in a bad relationship and working on getting herself out of it.
We only had a few minutes but picked up where we had left off and we only had time to give her my number as she and her family were needing to leave.
It will be great to continue on with our relationship.
I did learn that she hasn't yet been baptized. I got the impression it's only a matter of time.
I have truly been Blessed going to that church!!
I sorry I didn't have time to post about it sooner.
