I just got an E-mail from Steve (TEX) He was on Guideposts with us for a long time. Some of you will remember him.
He is asking for prayers for his cousins stepdaughter's. son His name is Adrian and is 2 1/2 years old. He also lives in Texas not far from Tex. This little guy was bitten by a spider and is very ill with temp of 105 and swollen lymph nodes.. They think that the toxin entered his blood stream and he was admitted to the hospital on Wed. Still in serious and still has the fever. Please pray for this little fellow.

The same thing happened to my sons stepdaughter's boyfriend Kent last week he was in the hospitial with high temp severe headaches, upset stomach after being bite by a spider on his neck, They told him that the infection had spread to his bloodsteam and he awaso had a severe reaction to the antibodics they gave him. When they let him go home Wed. they told him if he hadn't come in to the ER that night he might have died. Kent is home and getting better. I pray that Adrian will have that news soon.

I'm praying.

I got another e-mail today. Adrians fever has gone down and he is eating. Steve says the doctors are leaning toward operating to remove the infected gland as the swelling has not gone down.
he says Thanks for the prayers and he will keep me up to date on Adrians progress.
