I just posted a post and left the forum then as I closed it I thought about how important you all are to me. When I read Cathy's Good morning and she asked where her Cornell Buddy was I felt like she was near me. ( we are connect to Cornell University because her son goes there and my son and grandnson work there.) It is like a bond. Hopefully sometime before her son finishes Cornell we will be in the area together and Cathy and I can meet.
Then there is the rest of you. It is a blessing to come to Popsonian and read your posts all this time.
I know you all have the same feelings When we are away and get home we have to get to the computer to see who is here.
Where would be be without your stories, jokes, poems. hellos, and hearing about your day and of course hear your prayer requests. And who do we think of every time we have a crisis?. Our dear forum friends. THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart; Those from the east coast to the west coast those in the Mountains of Washington , Kentucky and Tennesee and all in everywhere in between .We are here because we care about each other . Those still here have stuck together from one forum to the next never leaving each other. Bobby your coming back here shows what a great person you are. How much you want to be here to lend us a shoulder. Thank you dear Friend.
Think about all the times we have felt the pain of those who are depressed, those you lost their jobs or can't find one.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being here. If i ever meet someone lonely who needs a friends I will show them the path to popsonian and all of you. Pops a special thanks for you letting us stay together, We know how busy you are and we are glad you are part of us also. Thank You God for everything you have doen for everyone here.
WE WILL KEEP PUTTING GOD IN THE CENTER SO EVERYTHING ELSE CAN COME TOGETHER. GEO if you ever come here we wish you would come back too .
DEB LIZ where are you? Also does anyone know where Kathleen is.? I had her e-mail at one time but that computer crashed and It was lost.

Great post Barby! You are a peach- and everyone misses you when you aren't around. A big WELCOME to all of you who haven't been here in awhile. You were missed and I love catching up with you all again.
Tried and tried to get on here last night but an hour of maintenance turned into many hours-lol- but at least it is up and running today.

Yes maddie when I was on and then the post came up that they were closing for maintenance not only this site but all the Freeforms.com I knew it was something to make these sites better. At least we know they are improving their sites.
yes Wherever we "Gather together to ask the Lords blessings" is great. A lot of worship fellowship and a little fun and we are all happy.

Amen Barby!!!!! What more can be said???? You said it all!!! I love you all too and miss you if I don't see you around. I'm going to try to start popping in...if even for a few minutes....while Corrina is getting ready for school each morning. Then I can at least pop in for a second and wish you all well.

I too agree. Friends are special. I love you too Barby.
I feel so close to each of you. I feel more at peace knowing that you really are a sibling of mine in Christ that I like gathering with daily.
I really do feel blessed to have found my way here to this new loving caring spiritual family I now have here.
I also wanna Thank You all for your help in showing me how to get closer to the Lord.

Barby, from the deeeeep depression I was in, God somehow guided me over to Angels on Earth and He knew I would be taken care of by you, Star, Katie, PIP, Deb, Cathy, Erin, Cindy, Ibolya, Dutches, Bobby, Greywolf, and BroWayne and any others I might have missed mentioning.
Barby, God knew that I needed to register there before that place closed down.
It is surreal how fast everything happened to me that evening...all within a matter of minutes.
My depression was sooooo critical, I had no control over my clicking fingers. He had taken over and clicked me right to the place it said Submit.
To me, Submit now has 2 meanings.

Maggs and Marsha, Thank You also for your Friendship and Spiritual Support that I have found with you.
Bobby and Greywolf, Maggs, and others, thank you for bringing me closer toward our Father in Heaven by bringing messages of Truth.
Your messages sure do feed me Spiritually each time I come across them.

I miss BroWayne and PIP, and hope to hear from them soon.

Bless you all.
I don't know how to repay you for what you have done for my life and to me personally.
I will pass on to others what I need to in order for them to see Jesus through me.
...and if they don't reconize him, that's okay to, for I know they have been touched, even in small way.

I have through you all, learned that no matter what, as long as I do my best in pleasing our Lord,
He will always have me feeling Him with me.

Hi Robin- I haven't had the pleasure of getting to know you yet- but I had to comment on your post! I love your take on the word SUBMIT! God has done that to me many times in my life when I have had the rug pulled out from under me. When I finally give in and submit- He does His best work. And others surely will see God in you. Robin- I think God wanted you to be with us. That is why he kept me wide awake that night that angels closed knowing that you needed to have a place and of course he knew Angels was closing before we did. While I was wide awake way past my bedtime I visited the angels site and you were the only one there. I read the last posts posted there and thought we might be in trouble God made sure you weren't left without your friends. you PMed me and said how much you needed us. I told you then how to get here and You did find it and joined. I am glad you are getting comfort and love and feel closer to God here. There were only a few people here posting at that time and Praise God others soon came back here. Pops is back too help us and we are a family of Christian Sisters and brothers. I pray that others that can't find us soon will know where we are.

what a great post, yes this is family here, we have laughed and cried and prayed and rejoiced with each other over the years..so glad we have this place to come to..it seems the enemy is trying to keep us apart, because he knows the power we have with prayer..but God has provided again for us as always..Barby thanks for always being there with your wisdom and encouragement, for the many times we have had heart to heart talks when something was bugging us..thats what friends are for..Robin so good to have you with us..Yes God was leading..I think when each of us came together we really needed something and in these forums we have found it..friendship..encouragement, and prayer partners..Thank you Jesus for these friends they light up my life and make my days shine..Maddie, Maggs and Greywolf, and many others if I forgot to mention your name, you are still there for me..love and prayers.

I'm looking forward in getting to know you better too.
I'm glad you posted about how he does his best work after we submit to him.

I hadn't thought about *getting saved* until my Sunday School friend wanted to be saved.
The way I perceived it is:
I too wanted Jesus in my life and to be proud of me. I wanted to do good, I felt the need to do good.
I could talk with Jesus about anything. (including my life when I dare not talk with others about it)
I could trust him completely and I believed in Him with all my heart.
I knew he would listen to me. He died for my sins so that I can be forgiven.
I knew in my heart that he Loved me and would always Protect me.
My friend was saved the Sunday before I was.

At age 11, I had no one to guide me toward God after I was saved.
My parents didn't know how to talk with me about the Bible, the Lord, or anything Spiritual or they would have.
The only Spiritual things I learned was from Sunday School and Church.

When something I prayed for didn't happen, and I did give it a year for God to make it happen for me, ( I didn't wanna rush him) I was to young to understand what had happened when the thing I wanted most in the world was ignored. I din't have anyone to tell me that it wasn't meant to be and things happens in God time, not when I want it done.

On my 13th birthday, I was lost. I felt my prayer I prayed every morning and every night plus writing it in my diary I had gotten for my 12 birthday, every day for that whole year, I felt I wasted my time and any hope I had was completely gone.
I was alone.
I believed I had to do nothing but live this life of mine the best I knew how.
My motto at the time was, if it didn't hurt no one, why not? It seemed to help me be a good person.

I did not know that things happened to me at *His Time...not mine*.
...until 43 yrs later.
